 U.W.I.N. / United Way Information Network

   UWIN provides centralized information and referral to health and human services for all Yavapai County residents. We assist service providers to improve efficiency and effectiveness through partnerships, training and technical assistance.

We leverage our rescources to deliver creative solutions to community problems.

UWIN has taken its first steps in web help for people in need. Anyone with computer access can use our community site. The address is www.unitedwayyavapai.org then click on the red outlined triangle on the home page. This will take you to the home page. Just choose the type of assistance needed and click go.

In the last six months the information network has seen a lot of activity:

        ⇒ We have issued 3,679 referrals, 60% in the Prescott & Prescott Valley area, 15% in the Chino Valley
            and the balance in the Verde Valley and surrounding areas.

        ⇒ The number of actual call received were 2,784.

        ⇒ There was an increase in the agency referrals

        ⇒ A few of our high users are Catholic Charities, People who Care and West Yavapai Guidance Clinic.
