and businesses in Yavapai County. Volunteers make the difference by providing extra help, creative

ideas and skills, while enhancing their lives and those of the people they serve.

Greeting guests, passing out Programs, show seating arrangements, etc.

Arrive at 5:00 pm and work one hour to maybe an hour and one half.

 

Check-Out

Assistance in gathering silent auction clip boards, record bidder numbers,

give bidder winners their auction items.

Time for check out is 8:30 - 9:00 pm.  For those only doing check-out they

need to arrive at 6:30 pm and stay until 10:00 pm

 

Set-Up / Friday Steptember 24 at 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

Setting out decorations, table toppers, kids pictures, posters, lights and

final silent auction items on tables in numerical order.

Director of Gratitude

The ideal candidate will be energetic have an outgoing personality, have basic computer skills and be 

willing to put their creativity to work.  The Director of Gratitude will be responsible for all acknolegement

opportunities for Stepping Stones to include acknoledgement of community partners, donors, staff and

Step One Community Center is looking for two friendly individuals to serve as Hosts or Hostesses.

Volunteer to Work with Families

We are looking for a volunteer to work with families trying to get back on their feet.  The Transitional

Housing Advocate will work with families in the Stepping Stones Agencies Transitional Housing program

on case management and service planning.  No experience in social services is necessary - all training

will be provided.  The ideal candidate will enjoy working with people, be detail oriented, and have

excellent written documentation skills.  The time commitment is approximately 4 hours a week.  If this

Feed the Hungry    

        

ONGOING VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY

 

Ages under 18 must be supervised 

 

This organization provides service to feed those in need every Saturday in the Salvation Army Dining

room on South Montezume Street.  The Salvation Army feeds five days a week.  Anyone interested

in preparing and serving a meal on one or more Saturdays, please call Cindy Campbell at 445-4351

or Sue Malarkey at 445-2023.  A lot of help is needed and you will be blessed beyond words.

Northland Cares          

 

ONGOING VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY

 

Age 18 or older 

 

Volunteers are needed to answer phones, assist in the front office and help with speical events, Monday

through Thursday.  We are also in need of a volunteer to do general cleaning for one hour, once a week.

The Center for Adult Day Service      

                       

ONGOING VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY

 

Age 18 or older

 

A 501c3 non-profit organization, is a licensed, free-standing day center offering activities and recreation,

 nutritious meals, musical programs and social services for adults dealing with strokes, Alzheimer's

Desease, memory loss, confusion or head injuries and need socialization and health monitoring. 

Volunteers are needed to help in many areas including assistance with arts and craft classes,

musical and other entertainment, educational presentations, etc.  The Center is open Monday

through Friday from 8 am to 4 pm.  Call Elly Little at 445-6384 for more information,

Interact

                                             

Interact is a club at Bradshaw Mountain High School with over ten youth already in this Rotary youth

organization who help seniors and others in the comunity prune trees and vines.  In the Summer they

pick the ripened fruit giving the property owners all they need and then selling the rest to family,

friends or at the local farmer's markets.  Some food may also be given to the Yavapai Food

Bank as well. 

 

This club helps our youth earn service hours, assists seniors with harvesting and triming their trees

and vines as well as making money to circulate back into our community.  This club is also at

Chino Valley High and North Pointe Expeditionary in Prescott.

in need of help come Summer time.

We can use volunteers for a variety of tasks:

  1. Welcoming students and helping them complete their enrollment paperwork
  2. Tutoring students in problem areas

Prior teaching experience is a big plus, but not required for all tasks.

 

We can use volunteers from 1 hour a week to 3 hours once or even twice a week and

we are flexible when scheduling prople with varying hours on Monday through

Thursday.

Catholic Charities offers a diverse range of social services that stregthen families, protects

and nutures children and supports people in crisis of all ages and faiths.  They need your help. 

There are several regular and event based volunteer opportunities available within our organization.

 

We need volunteers for The Medical Loan Closet who loan out for a small fee walkers, wheel

chairs, toilet risers, etc.  There is phone and interfacing with the public and the hours are from

9 am to 1 pm on every Thursday and Friday.

Will work with court ordered people.

 

We are developing reliable service statistics for our area.

 

Volunteers must be computer literate and able to enter basic client information in an Excel program

on a MAC computer.  The work is easy but tedious.  Training is provided and Mr. Naylor is often

with the volunteers.  

 

The days of work are on Wednesdays and Fridays when the food bank is closed. The hours are

9 am - 12 pm or 1 - 4 pm and there is some flexibility in times.  Transportation is not provided but
