United Way of Yavapai County is transitioning the Yarnell Fire Relief Warehouse into a holding warehouse for Yarnell residents that lost their homes or possessions to the Yarnell Hill Fire, June 30, 2013. All residents registered with the state as uninsured or underinsured have been provided with resources from the warehouse. Items that are being held in a storage warehouse will remain there for the time being, until residents finish rebuilding or other arrangements are made for storage of the items. A public sale ran for 10 days in February, 2014 to allow the community to help raise additional funds for the underinsured residents. The main warehouse is now shut down as things are cleared out. If you have any questions, please call Yvonne Bartlett at UWYC offices, 928-778-6605.
